Sometimes, when someone is trying to calm or control a situation, often a difficult one, they will say to others involved, “Don’t make waves”. That is, don’t do or say anything that may stir things up or make things worse when calm is what is needed at that time.
But sometimes, consciously making waves is vital and actually unavoidable, when we really do need to “make waves” and to stimulate the world around us to manifest the great, the beautiful and the wonderful.
In fact we are always sending everything from gentle ripples to huge tides through our auras and energy fields out into the collective field, into our world. They are the consequence of all our thoughts and actions, both the conscious and the subconscious.
As we approach the celebration of Christmastide, it is a timely reminder of what powerful waves can do.
Whatever one’s belief system, the idea of the birth of a divine child who incarnated to reveal to humanity the power of love, healing and joy, peace and compassion, is indeed the making of a beautiful wave. In fact it is likely to become really tidal if we all participate in allowing that divine child and all it represents to emerge in us.
So as we take our holiday break soon, it is an opportunity for renewal, a time to pause and reflect on what lessons we still need to learn, what forgiveness we may need to find in our hearts, and what blessings we have and wish to share with others. Perhaps light a candle as you pause for a while and think beautiful things.
It is your opportunity to be a really magnificent wave-maker.
I wish all of you a very peaceful time this Christmas.
With lots of love and may many many blessings come your way.
